FRANCES IS ONE OF VICTORIA'S most popular photographers.
Her portfolio is a diverse collection of work spanning magazine covers,
annual reports, advertisements and brochures, plus the city's finest
weddings, portraits and events.
Her corporate clients include: The Empress Hotel, the Victoria Conference
Centre, Tourism Victoria, Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest
Publications, the Times-Colonist daily newspaper, the Queen Alexandra
Centre for Children's Health, plus a variety of government ministries.
Frances Litman has a beautiful studio, plus full on-location facilities.
"I'm fully equipped. My clients appreciate having the assurance
that I come prepared", she says.
People are her specialty. Whether it's a business or family portrait,
Frances Litman strives for a relaxed and approachable look, while
maintaining a keen eye for detail.
At events, Frances prefers to quietly go about her business, drawing
no attention to herself, but simply recording the action as it happens.
Her photojournalistic eye and sense of timing has earned her the respect
of clients and colleagues alike.
Frances Litman has been featured by Kodak Canada in a national publication
and has her images in books, on magazine covers and in FujiFilm advertising
campaigns. She was awarded both her Masters and Craftsman of Photographic
Arts Degrees from the Professional Photographers Association of Canada
and continues to win numerous awards both nationally and internationally.
Frances Litman is also a member of the Victoria Better Business Bureau
and the Vancouver Island Meeting Planners and Suppliers Association,
Tourism Victoria, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International
& Kodak Pro Passport.
CHARITIES...Did you know that Frances is an avid supporter of a number
of charities, donating not only time but money to such worthwhile
causes as: The Land Conservancy, the Sierra Club, the David Suzuki
Foundation, the Queen Alexandra Centre for Childrens Health,
Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, Unicef, Oxfam, the
BC Association for Community Living, PEERS, the CNIB, the Mustard
Seed food bank, Ducks Unlimited, the Wild Arc, plus many others? Im
a firm believer in sharing and giving back when and where I can and
donate a substantial portion of all my sales to charity. Id
love to be a full-time philanthropist, however, in the meantime I
donate time, money and resources as regularly as I can and try to
encourage and inspire others to do the same, she says.
